Housing Developments




The City of Sutton is proud to offer 3 different subdivisions to build on. Our goal in Sutton is simple - to promote and maintain the highest possible quality of life for all of our citizens.

Horseshoe Bend Sub-Division

The Sutton City Council, Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA) have developed this housing development to help spur housing growth opportunities in the City of Sutton. The CRA developed Horseshoe Bend in 1998. The development offers mid to large size lots available for new housing construction and is located in the North part of Sutton, very close to Sutton Public School, Hillcrest View Assisted Living, and the Sutton Aquatic Facility.

The infastructure has been put in place and paid for by the developer. No additional assessments will be made to the property owner.

School Creek Estates

In 2001, Van Kirk Bros. Contracting created the second housing development in Sutton, NE. The housing development aimed at providing acreages for interested parties. North of Horseshoe Bend Subdivision, School Creek Estates offers medium (1/2 acre) to large (1 acre) size lots. School Creek Estates is located in the North part of Sutton, very close to Sutton Public School, Hillcrest View Assisted Living, and the Sutton Aquatic Facility.

All infastructure has been placed in School Creek estates with 6 lots remaining for building development.

Grand View Sub-Division

In 2007 the Sutton Development corporation realized the need for more affordable housing in Sutton. Together with the City of Sutton they developed the Grand View Subdivision containing 24 building lots. The Development Corporation has set protective covenants and restrictions for these lots.

All infastructure has been put in place.
